Responsibilities :
Responsible for overall management of database consulting firm.
ORACLE 12c application developer for a state agency client, responsible for implementing a faster processing methodology with the use of PL/SQL user defined database functions/procedures/triggers, indexes and SQL Loader. Performed similar work for same client using MICROSOFT SQL SERVER in the previous system. Performed analysis on data elements to allow state management to determine key business requirements.
Designed an ORACLE 10g database system for a state agency client. This required requirements gathering, exporting the data from a non-Oracle source, performing data conversions and loading into the new system.
Database administrator (DBA) for a state agency client, responsible for ORACLE 9i table design and maintenance, data conversions, job scheduling, table sizing, and application performance tuning.
Database analyst for a state agency client, responsible for PL/SQL development for a large-scale year 2000 project. Developed numerous database packages for supporting Cobol interface to Oracle database. Trained programmers in SQL and PL/SQL language, relational database concepts.

Responsibilities :
Design and development of a time and request tracking system that automated
employee time cards, invoicing, travel expenses, software change requests. Design and implementation of numerous reports. Development
environment consisted of Oracle V6 in MS-DOS and AIX, SQL*Forms 3.0, Sql*ReportWriter.
Designed and developed a work order system for a gourmet food basket company. The system used ORACLE, and its associated products SQL*Forms, SQL*Menu,SQL*Plus and SQL*Report.

Programmer - 1987 to 1988
Responsibilities :
Develop 4GL programs using an in-house developed 4GL for an insurance company.
I was responsible for designing the underlying menu system, most of the
insurance accounts level software, and making many suggestions for improved
performance of the 4GL which were subsequently incorporated.

Software Engineer - 1985 to 1987
Responsibilities :
Designed and developed a real-time interface program to permit existing
targeting pod software to communicate with its host aircraft. I also modified
existing FORTRAN programs for data reduction to analyze system performance for
both requirements verification and processor utilization.
BURROUGHS CORPORATION, Orlando, Florida
Associate Engineering Programmer - 1983 to 1985
Responsibilities :
Developed microprocessor firmware to permit a laser printer to decode and
process line printer data. This firmware was developed for three different
interfaces. I also designed and implemented real-time control firmware for the
laser printer's operator interface.
